Waxline is a premium marketplace for vinyl records, built in 2026 and headquartered in the Netherlands. We connect collectors and listeners with the best independent record stores in Europe — without the friction, the clutter, or the counterfeit risk of classic marketplaces.
Why we built it
The vinyl market has exploded, but the places to buy records online haven't kept up. Listings are inconsistent, grading is opaque, shipping is a gamble, and the biggest platforms skim double-digit fees while the shops doing the actual work get squeezed. We thought record stores deserved better — and so did the people buying from them.
Waxline is built around a simple idea: one premium product page per release, multiple verified sellers competing for your order, and a checkout that routes you to the cheapest copy at your chosen grade. Stripped back, honest, fast.
What we stand for
- Authentic inventory.Every seller is manually reviewed, registered as a business, and agrees to our grading & packaging standards before listing a single record.
- Fair fees. 6.5% transaction + 3.5% payment fee — roughly half of what Discogs and eBay charge. Stores keep more, buyers pay less, everybody wins.
- Buyer protection by default. We hold payment until you confirm safe arrival. Dispute within 7 days if the record doesn't match the listing, we'll refund the difference.
- No bidding, no games. One price per condition, shown up front. What you see is what you pay.
Who runs it
Waxline is built and operated by a small team in the Netherlands. We're collectors ourselves — most of us spend more on records than we care to admit — which is why the app obsesses over the details that matter to a real buyer: accurate condition grading, spotlighting the seller behind each copy, and letting you preview the full tracklist before you commit.
Where we're going
Today Waxline covers around 50 verified European stores and new releases land weekly.
